She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Jordanof was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, York got a massive performance out of Avery Kanouse, who went 2-for-3 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most runs Kanouse has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillianah Burda, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
York pushed their record up to 17-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Proviso West, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
