Octorara Area and the Raiders are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Octorara Area Braves will head out on the road to take on the Eastern Lebanon County Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Octorara Area pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Lampeter-Strasburg by a score of 59-56. Octorara Area has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.
Meanwhile, Eastern Lebanon County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 59-51 to Cocalico.
Octorara Area's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Eastern Lebanon County, they dropped their record down to 9-9 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Octorara Area skirted past the Raiders 62-60 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Octorara Area since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
