Michigan Lutheran Seminary was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took  a  6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Perry Ramblers. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their  loss to the Ramblers from their previous meeting  back in May of 2024.

 Ally Coffey was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 12 batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned  (and five unearned) runs off   nine  hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run and one  stolen base.
 Coffey wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Addison Whitmer, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
Michigan Lutheran Seminary's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Perry, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.
