Football Recap: Turlock Has No Trouble Against Pitman

Turlock won the last time they faced Pitman and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 28-14 win over the Pride. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 21-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Pride cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the loss, Pitman still got an impressive performance from Mason Helwick, who rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns. The Pride are 2-1 when Helwick posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.

The victory got Turlock back to even at 4-4. As for Pitman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Turlock didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 29-26 defeat against Downey on the 24th. As for Pitman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 31-24 win against Enochs on the 24th.
