The Glasgow Yellowjackets will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Salisbury Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Monday, everything came up roses for Glasgow on the road against the Panthers as the team secured a 79-13 win. Given Glasgow's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while the Panthers are ranked 558th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Salisbury entered their tilt with the Falcons with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. Salisbury really took it to the Falcons for the full four quarters, racking up a 81-27 victory on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 51-7.
Glasgow has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Salisbury, their victory was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1.
Glasgow ended up a good deal behind the Panthers in their previous matchup back in January, losing 67-53. Can Glasgow avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
