The Bentworth Bearcats lost against the Frazier Commodores back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Bentworth received a tough blow as they fell 63-46 to Frazier. Bentworth has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bentworth's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Moessner, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Urcho, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
Even though they lost, Bentworth smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Bentworth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Frazier, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
Bentworth won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Fort Cherry at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. One thing working in Fort Cherry's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine matches. As for Frazier, they will head out on the road to challenge Charleroi at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
