The Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Clarendon Hall Saints at 7:10  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
 Last Tuesday, Andrew Jackson Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  56-52 to the Generals. While losing is never fun, Andrew Jackson Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings  (they are ranked 220th, while the Generals are ranked 104th).
 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Hall Sease, who  dropped  a double-double on 15 points and 11  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Hayden McClung, who  scored 16 points along with five  assists.
 Meanwhile, Clarendon Hall ended up a good deal behind the Cavaliers on Tuesday and lost  69-53. Clarendon Hall has not had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
 Andrew Jackson Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Clarendon Hall, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with that  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Everything came up roses for Andrew Jackson Academy against the Saints in their previous meeting  back in February of 2023 as the  squad secured a  118-69 win. With Andrew Jackson Academy ahead  67-34 at the half, the  matchup was all but over already.
