Loss or not, McGregor got some senior leadership from Bubba Zacharias and Dominic Madron. Zacharias threw for 415 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per attempt, while Madron picked up 263 receiving yards and one TD. Zacharias' passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 326 passing yards dating back to last season.

Hillsboro found their leader in sophomore Braylen Benson, who rushed for 236 yards and four scores while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McGregor will venture away from home to face off against Groesbeck at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
