After a string of 15 wins, the La Grange Leopards's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They fell just short of Manor New Tech by a score of  70-68. La Grange was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Manor New Tech apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in January.
 Despite the loss, La Grange still got an impressive performance from   Nathan Scott, who  dropped  a double-double on 26 points and 13  rebounds. Scott also  posted two+  blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cordale Knapik, who  scored nine points along with six  steals.
 Manor New Tech's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Ja?den Stiggers led the charge by  scoring 23 points along with three  steals. Stiggers hasn't dropped below 15 points for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was  Kome Harris, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and nine  rebounds.
 La Grange's defeat  ended a five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 24-9. As for Manor New Tech, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record  this season.
 La Grange will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Smithville at 6:15  p.m. The timing is sure in La Grange's favor as the  squad sits on nine straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Smithville has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road. As for Manor New Tech, they will  square off against Giddings at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Manor New Tech is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 68.8  points per game this season.
