Last week, Christian Life took on Westminster Christian. Christian Life's defense put the team in a good position heading into the break, holding Westminster Christian to a measly six points. That put Christian Life at a 12 - 6 advantage. The offense couldn't take advantage of its lead, however, scoring zero points in the second half. The season opener ended as a disappointing 14 - 12 defeat for Christian Life.
As for Alden-Hebron/Faith Lutheran, it has to be hurting after the devastating 31 - 6 loss at the hands of Lake Forest Academy last game. Alden-Hebron/Faith Lutheran unfortunately couldn't repeat the imposing 40-point effort it came up with in its previous game.
We'll see which team manages to turn its luck around when they battle it out this week.
