The Strafford Indians will head out to square off against the Forsyth Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Strafford is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Strafford and Sarcoxie meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Indians came out on top against the Bears by a score of 5-1.

Kayliegh Lexa spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dalyce Scrivener, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Forsyth couldn't beat Cotter on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Panthers fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since March 28th.
Lauren Turner was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had since back in May of 2025. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs.
Turner wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Hagey, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Georgia Barnett also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Forsyth has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Strafford, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
Strafford beat Forsyth 13-8 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
