After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Canyon Hills, Rock Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed past the Foothills Christian Knights to the tune of 49-21. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.
A big part of Rock Academy's win came down to the chemistry between Alec Endicott and his top target Zayden Campbell. Endicott threw for 247 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes while Campbell rushed for 160 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries. Those three passing touchdowns gave Endicott a new career-high. Carson Manjarrez also helped out as he racked up 101 receiving yards.
Rock Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Foothills Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
