North Daviess put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Mitchell Bluejackets 52-6. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

It was another big night for Keaton Graber, who rushed for 93 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries, and also threw for 149 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (155.9). Cambell Wittmer was in the mix too, providing North Daviess with one TD.

North Daviess didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Mitchell to a completion percentage of just 33.3%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Skye Knepp and John (Bubba) Neideffer, who each logged three passes deflected. North Daviess wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 78.6%.

North Daviess' defense also made the game a nightmare for the opposing QB, racking up 9.5 sacks. Kohl Bell was especially locked on to Mitchell's QB and sacked him 3.5 times.

Mitchell's loss came despite strong showings from Sven Lutchka and Joe Todd. Lutchka picked up 90 receiving yards and one touchdown, while Todd threw for 96 yards and one TD. Lutchka showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 67 yards.

North Daviess' victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Mitchell, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, North Daviess is taking a road trip to square off against North Knox at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.43 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mitchell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Paoli at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bluejackets will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups.
