Gloucester Catholic is 9-1 against Kingsway since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Rams will host the Dragons at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
On Tuesday, Gloucester Catholic made easy work of Hun and carried off a 7-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.
Eddie Pinero looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Noah Danza, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Braeden Lipoff, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Kingsway owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They put the hurt on Gloucester County Tech with a sharp 6-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with Gloucester County Tech: they've now won five in a row.
Kevin Magsam got the start for Kingsway and what a start it was: he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over 4.2 innings pitched. AJ Aimis picked up the save, pitching 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
At the plate, Brayden Thorp was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Logan Taylor was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
Kingsway's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Gloucester Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
