If Lorena was riding high fresh off their 71-20 takedown of Marion last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lorena Leopards took a 38-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fredericksburg Billies on Saturday. The Leopards' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Lorena's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Fredericksburg, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.
