The Southern Alamance Patriots waltzed into their contest Wednesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They snuck past Person with a 64-59 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Southern Alamance's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyler Moore, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. The matchup was Moore's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Forester, who scored 18 points.
Southern Alamance has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Person, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-4.
Southern Alamance won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against East Chapel Hill at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th. Hopefully East Chapel Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Saturday. As for Person, they will head out on the road to face off against Orange at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Orange will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
