Trinity Christian's Jalin Buie recorded the longest rushing play in 3A District 1 this season in his game against IMG Academy last week. Buie ran for 80 yards on the play and finished with 190 on the day as his team defeated the Ascenders.
Trinity Christian and IMG Academy played the most contested game in the league this week, with Trinity Christian eventually emerging with a 27-24 victory. Buie ran for 190 yards during the win.
Buie was a passing and rushing force as Verlon Dorminey's team defeated Chris Weinke's team. Buie's key target this week was Chris Barr, who caught 2 passes for 26 yards.
