Softball Game Preview: J.Z. George Jaguars vs. Holmes County Central Jaguars

J.Z. George has gone a perfect 4-0 against Holmes County Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. J.Z. George will be playing in front of their home fans against Holmes County Central at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

J.Z. George is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since February 16th on Tuesday. They came up short against Riverside, falling 26-10. The Jaguars have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Tysalyn Meeks led a balanced group of hitters, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Dakiya Robinson, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Holmes County Central lost 22-1 to Greenwood on Wednesday.
