After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Washington Township, Woodstown was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Clayton Clippers with a sharp 9-1 win. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Woodstown and bumps their season record up to 14-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Clayton, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodstown will head out to take on Delran at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clayton, they will challenge Camden County Vo-Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
