Iowa City West put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took the match and then some with a 58-14 win over Muscatine. The victory was familiar territory for Iowa City West, who now have six in a row.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Clinton, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They took a hard 14-34 fall against Central Clinton/Calamus-Wheatland.
Iowa City West's win lifted them to 7-1 while Clinton's defeat dropped them down to 3-5. We'll find out if Iowa City West can add another positive mark to their record or if Clinton can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Iowa City West's step.
