Section 5 Freelance recap October 1, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in Section 5 Freelance this week, Aquinas Institute beat St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute 31-21. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Little Irish.
University Prep scaled the state rankings by moving to 346 from 375 this week, the biggest jump in the league. University Prep climbed the ranks as a result of beating Dundee 36-28.
Aquinas Institute's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Little Irish feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jake Zembiec has thrown for 538 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Alex Bianchi has 14 catches for 208 yards.
Raheem miller's team led the league in scoring this week by notching 36 points on the Scotsmen.
