Valentine has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Gothenburg Swedes at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Valentine might have lost, but man, Kinsey Buechle was a machine: she dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Buechle hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Alivia Patterson, who scored four points.
Even though they lost, Valentine smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Gothenburg faced Minden in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Gothenburg received a tough blow on Saturday as they fell 57-43 to Minden.
Valentine has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Gothenburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-4.
