Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Rita to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jimmie Maxson iii, who picked up 168 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Kenwood's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.6 points per game. As for St. Rita, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
Kenwood came up short against St. Rita in their previous meeting back in September, falling 33-20.
