Sartell-St. Stephen came out on top against Detroit Lakes on Thursday thanks in part to Marni Koosmann's efforts. Koosmann wasn't messing around, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was her sixth straight with six or more strikeouts.
