Saillie Aheron posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Aheron and Morehead will head out on the road to take on West Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Aheron had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their match back in March 19-1. Could another big game from her be enough to change the outcome this time?
