First Baptist Christian Academy fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Warner Christian Academy on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 17-14 to the Eagles. One positive for the Crusaders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Noah Boone made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Ethan Bost also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

First Baptist Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. Warner Christian Academy picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-4.
