Xcellent 25 National High School Volleyball Rankings: Brebeuf Jesuit Prep knocks out Yorktown
Dobyns-Bennett of Kingsport, Tenn., replaces Yorktown in Top 25 after it lost in the Indiana 3A finals to Brebeuf Jesuit Prep.

A showdown in Indiana provided the only upset in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 national high school girls volleyball rankings this week, as Brebeuf Jesuit Prep of Indianapolis upset Yorktown to win the Class 3A championship.
Brebeuf, which was ranked No. 25 last week, had only one loss on the season and that was to No. 15 Yorktown early in the year. Yorktown's loss knocked it out of the top 25 and it was replaced by Dobyns-Bennett of Kingsport, Tenn., which won a state championship two weeks ago.

MaxPreps Xcellent 25 Volleyball Rankings
1. (1 last week) Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, Calif.), 32-0
The Monarchs completed West Catholic Athletic League play with 3-0 wins over Sacred Heart Cathedral and St. Francis. Rachel Williams had 14 kills, and Kristina Graven added 13 against the Fightin’ Irish while Graven had 16 kills and Williams 13 in the win over the Lancers.
2. (2) Reagan (San Antonio, Texas), 43-1
The Rattlers got through the first two rounds of the Class 5A playoffs with 3-0 wins over Connally (Pflugerville) and East Central (San Antonio). The Rattlers gave up just 25 points total against Connally while Preslie Alexander had 14 kills and Rachel James and Kayla Keller had 10 each in the East Central win.
3. (3) Ursuline Academy (Cincinnati, Ohio), 27-0
Ursuline defeated Butler 3-0 in the first round and Mason 3-0 in the second round to advance to the state semifinals. Ursuline will take on Magnificat (Rocky River) on Thursday.
4. (4) Shakopee (Minn.), 29-0
The Sabers won the Section 2AAA championship with a 3-2 win over Chaska in the finals. Shakopee won the first two games, but Chaska came back to win the final two to set up the final game, which Shakopee won 15-12.
5. (5) Muncie Burris (Muncie, Ind.), 40-0
The Owls captured the Indiana 2A state championship with a 3-0 win over Southwood in the state finals. Muncie Burris also defeated Brownstown Central 3-0 in the semifinals.
6. (6) Coffman (Dublin, Ohio), 28-0
The Shamrocks downed Pickerington North 3-0 in the first round and Mount Notre Dame (Cincinnati) 3-1 in the second to advance to the Division I semifinals. Coffman takes on Stow-Munroe Falls on Thursday.
7. (7) Colorado Springs Christian (Colorado Springs, Colo.), 25-0
The Lions won three matches at the Region A championships, defeating Frederick, Middle Park and Monte Vista by 3-0 scores. Morgan Broekhuis had 23 kills in the Frederick victory and 20 against Monte Vista.
8. (8) Dos Pueblos (Goleta, Calif.), 25-2
The Chargers played just one match last week, dropping San Marcos 3-0. Dos Pueblos wrapped up the Channel League title with the victory, finishing 8-0 in circuit play.
9. (9) Amarillo (Texas), 43-3
The Sandies advanced to the Region 1-5A semifinals with a 3-0 win over Mansfield Summit. Micah Nolan had 14 kills in the win. Amarillo faces Arlington Lamar in the quarterfinals. Amarillo also defeated Hanks 3-1 in its playoff opener.
10. (10) JH Rose (Greenville, N.C.), 26-0-2
The Rampants won their second straight North Carolina 4A state championship by defeating Ardrey Kell 3-1 for the title. Rose knocked off Enloe 3-0 in the semifinals with Emily Neideffer cranking out 11 kills and Caroline Douglas adding nine.
11. (11) Marian (Omaha, Neb.), 39-1
The Crusaders won the A-1 District championship, defeating Omaha Westside 3-0 for the championship. Marian also topped Lincoln 3-0 in the semifinals.
12. (12) Randall (Amarillo, Texas), 37-1
The Raiders breezed through the first two rounds of the Texas 4A state playoffs with 3-0 wins over Big Spring and Chapin. Raegan Shelton had 12 kills, and Katie Dudding had five blocks in the win over Chapin.
13. (13) Catholic Academy (Joliet, Ill.), 38-1
The Angels advanced to the 3A Super Sectionals with a 20-25, 26-24, 25-22 win over St. Francis (Wheaton). Catholic Academy also defeated Rosary (Aurora) 25-15, 25-16. The Angels meet Oak Forest next.
14. (14) Plant (Tampa, Fla.), 25-1
The Panthers opened the 6A regional quarterfinals with a 3-0 win over Countryside of Clearwater. Maddie Martin had 19 kills, and Alex Johnson had 11 for Plant.
15. (16) Huntsville (Ala.), 61-2
Alabama 6A state champions. Season over.
16. (17) Pope (Marietta, Ga.), 52-2
Georgia AAAAA state champions. Season over.
17. (18) Marian (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.), 72-2
The Mustangs won their first three matches in the Division A playoffs, topping Seaholm 3-0, Royal Oak 3-0 and Andover 3-0. Alexandra Cocklin had 13 kills against Seaholm, 15 against Royal Oak and nine against Andover.
18. (19) Jesuit (Portland, Ore.), 27-1
The Crusaders received a bye in the first round of the 6A state playoffs and then eliminated Roseburg with a 25-17, 25-16, 25-16 win on Saturday. Jesuit reaches the state tournament, set for Friday and Saturday, and will open with Gresham.
19. (20) Martin County (Stuart, Fla.), 27-1
The Tigers easily dispatched with Melbourne in the first round of the Class 5A playoffs, winning 25-15, 25-16, 25-9. Martin County plays South Fork this week.
20. (21) Berkeley Prep (Tampa, Fla.), 25-3
The Buccaneers advanced to the second round of the Class 3A playoffs with a 3-0 win over McKeel Academy. Katie O’Drovinak had seven kills and Jordan Burgess had six in the win.
21. (22) Mercy (Louisville, Ky.), 32-6
Kentucky state champion. Season over.
22 (23) Pearce (Richardson, Texas), 41-5
The Mustangs made it through the first two rounds of the Class 4A state playoffs with 3-0 wins over Wakeland and Kimball.
23. (24) Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, Kan.), 40-4
5A state champions. Season over.
24. (25) Brebeuf Jesuit Prep (Indianapolis, Ind.), 34-1
The Braves claimed the 3A state championship with a 3-0 win over Silver Creek in the semifinals and a 3-1 victory over Yorktown in the finals.
25. (NR) Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, Tenn.), 51-3
Tennessee 3A state champions. Season over.
