DSST: Cedar posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Fountain Valley as DSST: Cedar made off with a 53-32 win. DSST: Cedar pushed the score to 42-20 by the end of the third, a deficit Fountain Valley cut but never quite recovered from.
DSST: Cedar found their leader in underclassman Amaya Paul, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten steals. Paul is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Fortune, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Windsor Charter Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They were dealt a 68-32 defeat at the hands of Highland. Windsor Charter Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-17.
DSST: Cedar has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Windsor Charter Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
