Nelsonville-York is 7-2 against Miller since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. Despite their defeat, Nelsonville-York saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Andrew Conner, who scored 15 points, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Briant Call, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Miller pushed their score all the way to 69 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 73-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wellington School.
Nelsonville-York's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Miller, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Everything came up roses for Nelsonville-York against Miller in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 as the team secured a 77-40 victory. With Nelsonville-York ahead 44-24 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
