Leading Logan to victory were Makenzie Daubenmire and Dani Mahaffey. Daubenmire scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds, while Mahaffey scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Mahaffey has scored at least 25% of Logan's points. Another player making a difference was Claire Warren, who scored 4 points.
The victory got Logan back to even at 1-1. As for Vinton County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Logan will head out on the road to face off against Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Warren presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Logan in Ohio (Warren is ranked 33rd, while Logan is ranked 419th). As for Vinton County, they will be playing at home against Nelsonville-York at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Nelsonville-York focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Monday.
