Baseball Recap: The Christian Academy Starts Season with Win Against Upper Bucks Christian

The Christian Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past Upper Bucks Christian 8-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as The Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Jeremy Dorn and Cam Boswell were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Dorn tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. Meanwhile, Boswell kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. At bat, Dorn scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Boswell went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles.

In other batting news, Anthony Pasciolla was excellent, scoring a run and stealing Five bases. while going 1-for-3. Logan Garibay was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.

Looking ahead, The Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Calvary Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be The Christian Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Upper Bucks Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West-Mont Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th.
