Piedmont Hills suffered their biggest loss since November 22, 2023 on Friday. They took a serious blow against Willow Glen, falling 56-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Piedmont Hills has scored all season.
Piedmont Hills' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Subeg Rai, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds, and Christian Arciaga who scored 11 points.
Pioneer's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Piedmont Hills, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
Pioneer couldn't quite finish off Piedmont Hills in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 and fell 63-60. Can Pioneer avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
