Despite the loss, Front Range Baptist had strong showings from Ethan Granthan, who scored ten points, and Benjamin VanDenBerghe, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Granthan continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Stephen Manthei, who scored five points.
Denver Jewish Day has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. As for Front Range Baptist, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-8.
Denver Jewish Day is on the road again on Thursday and plays Sierra Grande at 8:30 p.m. on March 7th. Hopefully Sierra Grande focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Saturday. Front Range Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
