Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to San Miguel, who are still winless after their 12th game. They were outmatched by Tanque Verde at home and fell 75-44.
Catalina bumped their record down to 1-12 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for San Miguel, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
Catalina barely slipped by San Miguel when the teams last played back in November of 2023, winning 56-55. The rematch might be a little tougher for Catalina since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
