Dedham extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 5-6 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 16-10 margin over the Medfield Warriors. The Marauders not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 13, 2024 (when they won 11-4).
Dedham got a great performance from John Maclean as he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits.
On the hitting side, Julian Larrabbee was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Jadiel Feliciano, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.
Dedham kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 9.8.
As for Medfield, they now have a losing record of 5-6. Even if they couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
On Medfield's side, Charlie Duggan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with four runs, two RBI, and one double. Duggan has become a key player for the Warriors: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Bills, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with four RBI and one stolen base.
