The Walnut Ridge Scots lost 3-0 to the Big Walnut Golden Eagles on Thursday. The shutout was out of character for the Scots seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Walnut Ridge and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Big Walnut, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.
Coming up, Walnut Ridge will be taking part in a tournament against Briggs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Big Walnut does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
