Given Sun Prairie West's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Cougars are ranked 109th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Chris Davis Jr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 36 points along with four steals. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Sun Prairie West's points. Another player making a difference was Tavian Crawford, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Sun Prairie West pushed their record up to 14-2 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Janesville Craig, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
Sun Prairie West will head out on the road to take on the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Sun Prairie East's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
