Manchester Memorial will challenge Nashua North on the road at 6:30 PM on Friday. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Manchester Memorial, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Manchester Memorial suffered a grim 6-37 defeat to Merrimack last Friday. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Manchester Memorial.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout to Bedford in their previous contest, Nashua North were happy to find some success. Nashua North were the clear victor by a 48-22 margin over Goffstown. Nashua North were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Nashua North's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Manchester Memorial's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Nashua North can add another positive mark to their record or if Manchester Memorial can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Nashua North's step.
