Boron (Calif.) jumped out to an early lead against
Flintridge Prep (La Canada, Calif.) and never looked back on the way to a 42-14 victory on Saturday.
The Bobcats scored 18 points in the first quarter. Boron scored on a touchdown run by
Jadrian Wiser, a passing touchdown and a punt return touchdown.
After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, BHS was up 24-8 at the half.
The Bobcats expanded their lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. Boron scored two times in the third, including once on a rushing touchdown.
The win was a nice bounce back for BHS, which lost to Antelope Valley last week, 49-6. The win broke Boron's two-game losing streak. The loss was the third in a row for the Rebels.
