Houston faced Homer in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Hawks took a 23-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mariners. On the bright side, the 20- run performance marked the Hawks' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Houston's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Homer, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-16.

As of now, neither Houston nor the Mariners have any future games scheduled.
