Bonham is 2-8 against Leonard since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Bonham Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Leonard Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Bonham is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
Last Tuesday, Bonham lost to Blue Ridge on the road by a decisive 51-34 margin.
Bonham's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of DJ Stewart, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals, and Jagger Lindsey who scored nine points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Heath Brown, who scored four points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Leonard earned a 57-46 win over Howe on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Leonard.
Bonham has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-16 record this season. As for Leonard, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.
Bonham ended up a good deal behind Leonard when the teams last played back in January, losing 65-49. Can Bonham avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
