After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Santa Rosa, Logan was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cimarron Rams with a sharp 11-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Longhorns, who have now won five matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Aydin Kotara and Kale Griffiths made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Kotara struck out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Griffiths pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Kotara has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
