There's no place like home for the Palmetto Mustangs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Thursday. They secured a 79-73 W over Chapman on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Palmetto was led to victory by Xae Stokes and Maj Mccoy. Stokes scored 24 points, while Mccoy scored 38 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Krajus Mansel, who scored 5 points along with 5 rebounds.
Palmetto's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Chapman, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmetto will take on Seneca at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
