There's no place like home for the Temple Christian Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 37-36 photo finish over Trinity. This was payback for Temple Christian, who suffered a 37-27 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Luke Cisneros was the offensive standout of the match as he almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Ethan Rife was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten rebounds.
Temple Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Trinity, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Temple Christian will square off against Fellowship Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Temple Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Saturday. As for Trinity, they will head out on the road to challenge Weatherford Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
