Lindbergh waltzed into their game on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Northwest Lions get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 last Tuesday.

Austin Jones made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted over his last five contests. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

In other batting news, Adler Crask and Karsen Stout did most of the damage at the plate: Crask went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run, while Stout went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Lindbergh hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northwest struck out nine times.

Lindbergh's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 29-11-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Northwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.

As of now, neither Lindbergh nor Northwest have any future games scheduled.
