Angoon lost against Skagway last Sunday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Monday. The Angoon Eagles had to suffer through a   81-28 loss at the hands of the Skagway Panthers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Angoon now  has a losing record at 1-2. As for Skagway, their victory was  their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 4-0.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Angoon will challenge Gustavus at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Skagway, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hydaburg on February 2nd.
