Greenwich lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Tamarac, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's match. The Witches put the hurt on the Bengals with a sharp 9-1 win on Thursday. The Witches might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by eight runs or more this season.

Greenwich's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Tamarac, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Greenwich is set to face off against their familiar foe Hoosic Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tamarac will square off against rival Saratoga Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
