If the Moundridge Wildcats were riding high off their 58-15 takedown of Elyria Christian last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Moundridge took a 46-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hillsboro on Tuesday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Moundridge in their matchups with Hillsboro: they've now lost four in a row.
Moundridge's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Addy Patrick, who scored 6 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hattie Hecox, who scored 9 points.
Moundridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hillsboro, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moundridge will stay at home for another game and welcome Inman at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th. Hillsboro will take on Lyons at TBD on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (Lyons is ranked 33rd, while Hillsboro is ranked 17th).
