Casa Roble is 8-1 against El Camino since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Casa Roble Rams will square off against the El Camino Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Casa Roble made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Rio Linda, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went Casa Roble's way against Rio Linda on Tuesday as Casa Roble made off with a 12-1 win.
Alyssa Godwin made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. That's the fewest earned runs she has allowed since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Zaria Gee was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two triples and three runs. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in triples. Gianna Giannini was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
Casa Roble was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, El Camino gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victor by an 11-5 margin over Woodland. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won three in a row.
Oaklee Schwartz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Za'Niyah Smith, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dani Leon, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
El Camino picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Casa Roble, their record is now 3-4-1.
Casa Roble skirted past El Camino 10-9 when the teams last played back in April of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for Casa Roble since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
