The Tivy Antlers will square off against the McCollum Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tivy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully McCollum likes a good challenge.
Tivy was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Veterans Memorial on Thursday. The Antlers took their game with ease, bagging a 56-25 victory over the Patriots. The result was nothing new for the Antlers, who have now won four contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Tivy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Guy Flores out in front who picked up 101 receiving yards and four scores. Those four receiving touchdowns gave Flores a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyrin Armelin, who picked up 149 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Tivy's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Tomas Arreola, George Eastland, and Quin Van Gundy, who each picked up one sack apiece. Arreola was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making eight total tackles.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for McCollum, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in September. They had just enough and edged out Veterans Memorial 24-21. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cowboys as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
McCollum found their leader in sophomore Jordan Casares, who rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught one score. With that strong performance, Casares is now averaging an impressive 103.8 rushing yards per game.
McCollum was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 217 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Tivy's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for McCollum, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's matchup: Tivy has been excellent in the air this season, having averaged 320.4 passing yards per game. It's a different story for McCollum, though, as they've been averaging only 59.3 passing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant passing game?
Everything came up roses for Tivy against McCollum in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 55-20 win. In that game, the Antlers amassed a halftime lead of 34-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
